This activity is best done when first introducing a topic to the class, and evaluated at the end of the topic.
Divide the class into groups of 5 to 6.
Write down the topic they will be introduced to.
In their groups, get students to list down their predictions for the course of the learning of that topic. Predictions could include what they will learn, problems or challenges they might face, possible assignment questions - this is up to the groups.
Get each group to make 10 predictions and write them down.
Collect their predictions and display them somewhere in the classroom for the duration of the topic if possible.
And the end of the topic, go through their list of predictions and award points for all that did come true.

Making accurate predictions about the future can sometimes we thought of ‘magic’. However, this is what futurists do by using existing data and knowledge and imagining what they could lead to - it’s not a superpower, it’s a skill. Making predictions encourages the students to think both logically and laterally as they imagine everything that could be.
